Since January 2005 Orchard Information Systems Ltd and AcePSI have been working in agreement to partner each other in providing an asbestos management solution for social housing providers. Under the terms of the agreement Orchard act as the prime contractor for delivery of the AcePSI Asbestos Management Suite (AMS) to social housing organisations and the two companies have worked together to develop the first integrated housing and asbestos management solution.

The relationship between Orchard and AcePSI is an obvious one: Orchard is the market leading supplier of Housing Management solutions to the social housing sector and AcePSI is the market leader in the supply of Asbestos Management solutions. Both Orchard and AcePSI are acutely aware of the fact that legislation governing the proactive management of asbestos is now legally in force and that many housing management organisations are yet to implement an in-depth solution to managing it. Discussions between the two companies rapidly identified that AcePSI was an ideal Orchard business partner with a ‘best-of-breed’ solution that complements the facilities for recording and notifying asbestos that are already available via Orchard’s arcHouse solution.
