AcePSI Group understands the importance of Asbestos Management as a business, and takes quality very seriously. It is our policy to ensure that all work carried out by us fully meets our customers’ requirements and expectations, while maintaining practices in accordance with the latest regulations, best practice and approved codes of practice.

We are committed to improvement, underpinned by continuous monitoring and development of internal systems and procedures which enable us to be consistent in delivery of the highest quality asbestos services.

Asbestos Consultant to the Environment Ltd (ACE), is a fully owned subsidiary of AcePSI Group and is an independently UKAS accredited testing and inspection body. ACE also holds a wide range of accreditations and memberships from recognised industry related bodies, which clearly communicates our commitment towards quality. This includes ISO 17020, ISO 17025, BS EN14001, OHSAS 18001, CHAS, Exor, Achilles Link-up, Achilles UVDB Utilities, ACAD, ATAC, Constructionline and British Safety Council. ACE is in the process of gaining ISO9001 (due September 2011).

		The United Kingdom Accreditation Service( UKAS ) is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of these evaluators.

		The British Safety Council is one of the world's leading occupational health, safety and environmental organisations. Founded in 1957, it now has a turnover of more than £9 million. Their mission is to support a healthier, safer and more sustainable society.
		The British Accreditation Bureau's core business is the accreditation of people, services and organisations. They certify organisations to the latest ISO management standards and design and manage bespoke accreditation schemes.
		The United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association has been endorsed to promote the highest possible standards concerning all types of asbestos related training by working with official governing bodies to uphold national standards, procedures and requirements by improving asbestos training standards, procedures and disciplines
		The UVDB on-line system is used by all the major UK Utility organisations for any type of purchase ranging from one-off purchases to contract and framework agreements, from simple goods and engineered products through to support services and major civil works, from purchases of several thousand to many millions of pounds in value.
		Link-up is the UK rail industry supplier scheme, providing a single common registration, qualification and audit process for suppliers that is shared by the UK rail industry.
		The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) are dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard. CHAS is a founder member and current Chair of Safety Schemes in Procurement – Competence Forum or SSIP

		FPAL works to identify, qualify, evaluate and monitor suppliers on behalf of its purchasing members.
		ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation's internal Quality Management.
